BOUNDLESS RADIO I IGNANT & FOUL

Boundless Radio returns this month with another mix from good friend and
collaborator DJ Mondee. When Mondee isn’t too busy getting banned from
other countries, he is a fellow contributor on several Boundless Radio projects.
This new mix was recorded live at our Brooklyn location with help from Tes finalizing the mix.

Here is a sample of Mondee’s latest work with us on Teddy’s No Ideas Original mix.

Mondee explains his mix in a short Q & A.

What Inspired this mix?

Love, flowers, candy, sunshine, an ex girlfriend.

Please talk about the mix and explain briefly?

It was recorded live at boundless in bk and includes some of the most offensive and
degrading music i could think of. not for the kiddies or sensitive types.

What made you decide to release it on Valentines day?

I can be an asshole.

What can we expect from Mondee this year musically?

Pretty much nothing.

Any closing words?

I think this interview went well.

It’s time to take Pink Friday out and put Mondee’s Ignorant & Foul mix in on repeat.

We are welcoming the new year with a new Boundless Radio mix for you guys. A weekend blizzard storm
couldn’t stop resident DJ Teddy King from finishing up our latest installment of Boundless Radio.
This week’s show features guest DJ Geng Grizzly
who also just recently had a feature on Teddy’s second Nas Mixtape
l No Ideas Original l. Thanks goes out to Tes Uno for
finalizing the mix.

BLESS: Introduce yourself – who you is and what u does and why you does it?

GG: The name’s Geng-Grizzly…some may have heard Genghis…that’s cool too. I was born and
bred in a still-pretty-rotten New York City, which was definitely ill…but also kinda fucked up. A
while back, a buncha kids in pink wigs probably meant an insatiable thirst for
that Crazy Eddie, thirst enough over which to commit a violent act or two. But shout
out to the old record spots, auto-reverse decks, and uptown limo bags.

Whatever though, I seriously chose music over a lot of other shit. My early 80’s household was
a mix of my pops’ classic hard rock and Motown records, plus radio stations like WBLS. I soon
discovered Mr. Magic & Marley, as well as Uncle Ralph’s Video Music Box show,
and went full-steam ever since. By the ‘95, I had ran through my pops’ record collection,
started making beats with a (shitty) Roland JS30 sampler and two tape decks and
saved up enough to graduate from Gemini belt-driven joints to a pair of 1200’s. I used
to write rhymes in class (black & white Composition Book steez) and I was trash. My man
Monster Tage made me a believer and I got me an Akai MPC 2000 in ‘98. Today, I produce,
spin records, and do other things.

BLESS: Tell us about your selections on this radio show?

GG: Well, I wanted to really focus on the concept behind the brand’s name…what is Boundless?
How can one truly quantify that with one little audio file? Okay, no, the mix is just my answer
to all of the wild cunt-faggot, half-human, pussy shit that is flooding the market these days.
It’s also a nod to all the true school, aggro skaters and riders who thrash to anything,
so long as it has an edge.

BLESS: And what’s next for our man Grizzly?

GG: Definitely another mix or two FOR Boundless coming in a month or so (as well as something
to throw up on my Soundcloud page). One mix will definitely be called Backpack Fulla Felonies,
and it’ll be nothin’ but hard, street corner shit from the golden era
of that type of rap. Also, expect production work for my peoples Harlem Boog, Mumz,
Maffew Ragazino, Action Bronson, Tes-Uno, and definitely some others whom I’ve been in talks with.
Expect other tricks up the sleeve too. Read Purple Tape Pedigree…I’ve got a solid team with me and
we don’t play around with that weak shit.

BOUNDLESS RADIO I CLARK KENT PART 6 I THE FINAL CHAPTER

The DJ Clark Kent Series of Boundless Radio is coming to an end, the final chapter is now live.
This video reiterates why Clark has been one of our favorite guests. You’ve definitely seen
other interviews with him, speaking about his favorite producers or his Nike Projects. But this
Boundless Radio Series shows his diversity. It’s a candid look at how he became the personality
he is today – in his own words. Inspiring to say the least.

I wanted to give a huge thanks to Clark for taking time out of his busy schedule to stop by Boundless NYC
that hot summer night. Witnessing his uncut interview and watching him throw
down live is something I won’t soon forget.

Thanks to Kellen Dengler for putting his lens on another great musician. Kellen has been
helping us take these listening sessions to a whole new level. Allowing us to get our message out to a
larger platform. He’s got some big projects coming out in the future, the kid is going to be huge.

Shouts to NahRight.com for partnering with us to release THIS MIXTAPE. Which really
should have been called “A Live Mix on Tape” because Clark’s set was recorded live &
impromptu that night.

Thanks to the rest of the Boundless Family for getting this together. Teddy King & Tes Uno,
none of these shows could be done without you guys.

Until the next time. Check Radio.BoundlessNY.com for the rest of the Clark Kent series.
Along with an archive of our past mixes, interviews and all around Boundless Radio goodness.

BOUNDLESS RADIO | DJ CLARK KENT PART 4

Words By Aaron Hansen

Part 4 is here and its looking like you might see 2 more videos after this one. The content is so good.
After watching this its clear why the first record he ever produced went Gold.
I know this is your secret jam – Troop – Spread My Wings

Here is the Boundless breakdown of how DJ Clark Kent became Super Producer DJ Clark Kent.
Remember, it’s all mathematics.

Herbie ‘Love Bug’ Azor + Dana Dane + Marley Marl + Paul C + Patrick Adams = Producer DJ Clark Kent

Basically its like having the Original Dream Team teach you how to play basketball. Insane.

Boundless Radio with DJ Clark Kent returns. Part 1 covered his childhood love of music,
leading up to buying his first record and his obsession with collecting them. Now we present
Part 2 of our video series shot by Kellen Dengler.

How did you get your first turntables? Oh Word, Guitar Center… I think Clark’s story is a little
more interesting than that. Our 4 part series with Clark is just getting started.

Wait till he gets into DJing Union Square with Red Alert and the record he produced for the late
Christopher Wallace that ended up being BIGGIE’s favorite record. Yes, Boundless Radio is always official.
